What kind of an island is Liloan? The Philippines is a country holding approximately 7000 islands. Cebu is a slender island that stretches from north to south between Negros and Bohol located at the southeast part of the country. Liloan is the little town at the southernmost tip of this island. 'Lilo' means 'whirlpool', and 'an' means 'place'. The name originates from the fact that a whirlpool is created from the ebb and flow of the tide that is observed when the strait between this Island and Negros becomes narrowest.
Liloan is a village flourishing somewhat as a port for a cross-strait boat operating between Dumaguete which is a town of Negros Island and Cebu. Negros is located next to Cebu. But you would not find anything particular other than the port and the general small shops called Sarisari. Anything else that you encounter will be swines, chicken, goats, dogs, cats, small children, carefree fishermen, and energetic ladies. Liloan is this kind of an island where days go by at a slow pace.

 HOW ABOUT SEA？
 Diving at House Reef Beach is an experience you can have without much difficulty. The location is much talked about these days as the Philippine's best macro point and as a fantastic fish watching site. The tide moves extremely smoothly because of the spot being at the strait between Cebu and Negros on the opposite side of the sea. This sometimes invites unique sea creatures to the shore, or you would meet unexpected whoppers. Still, at certain times of the day, strong current flows are observed, which makes us catch the time the tide is not moving in order to dive.Other diving points around Liloan can be reached within 10 minutes time by boat. You can access quite easily areas such as the Sumilon Island existing with the white sand beach and beautiful coral reefs (reached within 20 minutes), the Apo Island famous for the schools of Caranx sexfasciatus and the gigantic castle of the Amphiprion bicinctus Ruppell (reached within an hour and a half), Balicasag known not only for Caranx sexfasciatus but for the high possibility of divers to meet Barrakudas (reached within an hour and a half).
It is not just these that you will see. We are discovering and opening up new original macro points near Negros located at the opposite side of the sea too !
 
 How do we get there?
 It is easy to come here. Just by using the internet, you can reserve and purchase flight tickets, and can also make reservations of the Resort. How convenient the world has become nowadays. Now then, about the flight tickets. Airlines prepare a variety of flights that take off from Narita, Kansai, Fukuoka, or from Nagoya Airport that go either directly to Cebu or via Manila. Begin by looking for discount tickets on the website. You will realize how easy it is to find them.

 To Cebu/Maktan via Manila using Philippine Airlines
 After arriving at the second terminal of Manila NAIA International and entering the country, it will take five minutes to arrive at the terminal's domestic flight lobby. By taking Philippine Airline's domestic flight, you can reach Cebu/Maktan. We will pick you up at Maktan Airport. It will then be just a three hour ride on a car. A free drive service to the Resort and to the Airport on your way back home is guaranteed to guests who reserved a package tour.
